If you're looking for a low cost way to get your taxes done this year, then you might want to consider Taxcut 2008 from H&R Block. Taxcut is probably the biggest competitor to TurboTax but with a smaller price tag.

(although, if I'm being honest, I like
TurboTax better - it's just an easier to use program). It
will help you get your taxes done quickly, accurately, and the amount it can
save you by helping you find overlooked tax deductions will easily make up
for the fact that you have to pay for the software in the first place.
